We conduct video surveillance on our premises to make use of our domiciliary right to detect unauthorised access to our buildings and open spaces, to prevent vandalism, to initiate police investigations in the event of damage caused by vandalism or acts of violence against persons, or so as to be able to present evidence in this regard for court cases. The legal basis for the permissibility of the video surveillance is the legitimate interests of our company or of relevant third-parties pursuant to Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR and to protect against possible threats, to avoid damage or to be able to take legal action in this respect (Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
The video recordings are generally stored for a period of approximately 72 hours. In the event of substantiated suspicious cases, recordings may also be kept for longer to facilitate inquiries or investigations.
You have the right to obtain information from us regarding personal data concerning you (Article 15 GDPR).
You have the right to demand from us a report on incorrect or incomplete personal data concerning you (Article 16 GDPR).
You have the right to demand that we erase or block personal data concerning you if one of the reasons and conditions listed in Article 17 or Article 18 GDPR applies.
You have the right in specific cases to object to the processing of your data, provided that no overriding legitimate interests exist (Article 21 GDPR).
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you are of the opinion that the processing of your data is in breach of the GDPR (Article 77 GDPR).
